Chancellorsville

The next game will be based on the Battle of Chancellorsville, 1863. To set the scene here are a few more Brady photographs recently unearthed in the Federal archives.

    I really do like your 6mm table, sounds silly but it does look very "Wargames Scenarios"-ish!

      Glad you like it Matt. There are approx 180 trees on the table but we are hunting around to see if we can find any extra to make it a bit more "wildernessey"!

    Wow, that table looks fantastic Ian. Chancellorsville is probably my favourite ACW battle so I'm looking forward to this one. A costly Confederate victory of course, not only in excess of 13,000 Reb casualties but the sad loss of Jackson too. it will be interesting to see how your re-fight turns out.

      I'm looking forward to this one as well - maybe Hooker will have a bit more luck than Pope and McClellan!
